First Herd of Horses Arrives in Louisville
Jim Wood, President and CEO of the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau (pictured) joined together with Louisville Mayor Jerry Abramson and Matt Thornton, Co-chair of the project, to welcome the horses to town.
Thornton encouraged business owners to become horse sponsors for this exciting civic pride project that brings color and fun to Louisville sidewalks from April - October 2009.
In all there will be five poses available to sponsors: Relax, High Step, Race On, Knight and Playful Foal.
Artists are invited to submit designs through December 19, 2008.
